Through its extensive exhibitions, educational outreach, and prized collections like the jade sword ornaments from Liu Bo's tomb, the museum has become a dynamic hub for public engagement and historical exploration.ShareJuye Museum, originally established in 2005 as a county-level institution, opened its new facility in 2018. It features seven permanent exhibition halls, including "The Vicissitudes of Daye", "Stone Treasures", and "Han Dynasty: A Flourishing Period", as well as a dedicated space for temporary exhibitions.

Juye Museum focuses on the rich history of the ancient state of Changyi during the Han Dynasty (206 BC- AD 220), with the ruins of its capital located 27 kilometers south of present-day Juye. The museum also delves into the region's broader human history, geographic features, and cultural milestones. Its collection includes over 13,000 artifacts, spanning from the Neolithic era to modern times, with 297 valuable items and 24 national first-class relics, showcasing Juye's cultural evolution over millennia.

A highlight of the museum is its impressive collection taken from the Han Dynasty tomb at Hongtu Mountain, believed to be the final resting place of Liu Bo, the first king of Changyi and father of Liu He, the Marquis of Haihun. The tomb yielded 1,056 artifacts, including bronze, iron, ceramic, jade, and lacquerware items. Of these, 225 exquisite pieces are now part of the museum's permanent exhibit, showcasing the opulent craftsmanship of the time.

One of the museum's most prized collections is its jade sword ornaments from Liu Bo's tomb. These finely carved pieces, featuring intricate bas-relief and openwork designs of tigers and clouds, represent the exceptional jade artistry of the Han Dynasty and are a major attraction for visitors.

Over the past 3 years, the museum has organized more than 20 exhibitions. The most renowned of these, "Ancient State of Changyi: Treasures from the Tomb of the Marquis of Haihun", displayed 60 artifacts from the Haihun Marquis tomb in Nanchang, along with burial objects from Liu Bo. This exhibition provided significant insights into the culture and history of the ancient state of Changyi.

In addition to exhibitions, the museum has actively engaged in educational outreach, hosting over 280 lectures, family activities, and presentations, solidifying its role as a key cultural institution and a vibrant hub for public engagement.
